Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 15, 2026 URL: https://www.sabinodb.com/privacypolicy

SabinoDB ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information through our website, sabinodb.com, and related marketing activities.

About our services: SabinoDB also provides software services that our business clients deploy on their own websites and platforms. When data is processed through those services on a client's site, the client, not SabinoDB, is responsible for its own privacy disclosures to end users, and our handling of that data is governed by our agreements with the client. This policy does not cover that processing. If you are an end user on a client's site, please refer to that client's privacy policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect data to operate effectively and improve our services. This includes:

  • Clickstream and Analytics Data: Collected via Google Analytics to help understand how visitors use our website.

  • Advertising and Marketing Data: Collected via advertising pixels and tags, including the LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Ads tags, and the Meta Pixel. This data is used to measure ad performance and to deliver retargeted advertising to visitors after they leave our site.

  • Device and Usage Data: Including browser type, IP address, operating system, referring URLs, timestamps, and interaction data.

  • Information You Provide: Including your name, email address, company, job title, phone number, and any other information you submit through our contact form, demo request form, or newsletter signup.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Operate and improve our website;

  • Measure the performance of our marketing and advertising;

  • Deliver targeted and retargeted advertising on third-party platforms;

  • Respond to inquiries, demo requests, and customer support questions;

  • Send marketing communications, such as newsletters, to those who have opted in;

  • Monitor and analyze website performance;

  • Ensure security and system integrity.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell user data for monetary consideration. We share data with:

  • Analytics providers, such as Google Analytics, to understand site usage;

  • Advertising platforms, including LinkedIn, Google, and Meta, in connection with running, measuring, and optimizing our advertising campaigns, including retargeting. These platforms may combine information collected from our site with information they collect from other sources;

  • Authorized service providers that support our infrastructure, hosting, email delivery, and customer support;

  • Our internal teams for development, marketing, and support purposes;

  • Other parties when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition.

4. Cookies, Pixels, and Tracking Technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies on our website. These technologies fall into several categories:

  • Analytics cookies, such as those set by Google Analytics, help us understand how visitors use the site.

  • Advertising and retargeting cookies and pixels, such as the LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Ads tags, and Meta Pixel, allow us and our advertising partners to show you relevant ads on other websites and platforms after you visit our site, and to measure the effectiveness of those ads.

  • Functional cookies support basic site operation.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, through opt-out tools provided by advertising platforms (such as LinkedIn ad settings, Google Ads Settings, and Meta ad preferences), or through industry opt-out pages such as the Network Advertising Initiative (https://optout.networkadvertising.org) and the Digital Advertising Alliance (https://optout.aboutads.info).

5. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as needed to fulfill the purposes outlined above or to comply with legal obligations. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to the default retention settings of the relevant platforms unless we configure otherwise.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security practices to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights such as:

  • Accessing the personal information we hold about you;

  • Correcting or deleting your personal information;

  • Requesting information about how your data is used;

  • Opting out of marketing communications.

  • Request that we correct inaccurate personal information;

  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.

Notice regarding "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising: Although we do not sell personal information for money, our use of advertising pixels and retargeting technologies (including the LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Ads tags, and Meta Pixel) may qualify as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. To opt out, you may:

  • Email us at info@sabinodb.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information";

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
